Three-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Washing Machine in Tamil Nadu, Neighbor Arrested

In a tragic incident from Tamil Nadu’s Radhapuram area in Tirunelveli district, a three-year-old boy named Sanjay was found dead inside a washing machine. According to a report by The Indian Express, the boy’s neighbor, a 40-year-old woman, has been arrested by the police on charges of murder.

The young boy had been playing outside his home before heading to the local Anganwadi when he went missing. His family, suspecting foul play, quickly pointed fingers at their neighbor due to a longstanding history of disputes. Acting on these suspicions, the police conducted a search of the woman’s home, where they discovered Sanjay’s body hidden inside a washing machine.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder may have been fueled by a deep-rooted enmity between the two families, reportedly stemming from a land dispute. Villagers were left shocked and outraged upon learning of the crime.

The woman, who had recently lost her own son in a road accident, was described by police as being “emotionally unstable.” She has since been taken into custody as authorities continue their investigation into the harrowing event.
